About Us
Superior Bathrooms is a company specialising in high-quality, complete bathroom projects as well as plumbing & heating services. We recently added German rigid build kitchens to our portfolio. The way we operate is not revolutionising the home improvement industry - we are just doing things how they always should have been done.
Mariusz "Mario" Gruszka
Mario chose a career in construction and has stayed faithful to the industry for over 20 years. Having demonstrated the creativity and the aptitude on the demanding Continental markets, he decided to move his business to Scotland. In 2005, Mario co-founded SuperMario plumbing and heating and Superior Bathrooms division. Since then, his "no-shortcuts" philosophy sees him gaining industry's accolades and passing demanding OFTEC and CORGI (now Gas Safe) exams. Mario's vision and passion extend not only to his work; he's keen hill walking enthusiast and music lover.
Michal "Mike" Mroczkiewicz
Living in Scotland since 1997, Mike experienced first hand the difficulty in finding reliable tradesman who will arrive on time and do the job properly. He was frustrated by the lack of systemization and the inability of plumbing businesses to create a consistent, high-quality result without charging the proverbial arm and leg. With his sales background, he spotted the market void and in 2005 all he needed was the business partner with plumbing experience and bathroom know-how. That's the genesis of Superior Bathrooms and SuperMario plumbing and heating.
With positive feedback from their clients, Mario and Mike soon realised that with a team of highly skilled employees, there was a need to display the capabilities of the true craftsmen - in original undiluted meaning of the word. That was the rationale behind the creation of Superior Bathrooms ShowRoom at 110A Dalry Road, Edinburgh.
We are extremely proud of our team and all of the people in our organisation that contribute to each and every successful bathroom project, from our creative designer, incredible craftsman tilers to our plumbers and heating engineers and everyone in between. Without the highest quality people, we could not do what we do as well as we do it.

Hello Michael... now all the work is finished and we are actually using our three new bathrooms I'm writing to thank you all for the work which was so willingly and carefully done. We gave you quite a task when it was decided to re-route all the drains, most especially the three toilets, but everything is working beautifully and my husband and I are delighted with the end result - very stylish!

Wendy and I were very pleased with the two bathrooms provided by SuperMario. We found Michal really friendly and helpful in deciding the specification at the planning stage, he had some good ideas that we used. When it came to the fitting of the two bathrooms, we were pleased that the work was started on the agreed date and then completed without delays. Minor design issues from the build work were sorted out quickly. The under floor heating is great and the sunpipe really works in the bathroom without a window. Both the ensuite and main bathroom have been much admired by friends & family and we have enjoyed the luxury!
If we were to give feedback I would suggest that a plan/drawing is created at the planning stage to ensure that measurements could be noted, this enabled the bathroom fitters to work to a detailed plan.
Overall a great job at a very competitive price!
